joeadams1950@gmail.com BioI have an amazing skill to like televisions shows that get cancelled as soon as I start watching, foods that are taken off the market as soon as I discover them, and an uncanny ability to connect with strangers who are off their medications.
I have tried to learn how to surf life, instead of wading in the shallows or dog paddling through still waters. I try to roll with the boils, "go in with a whirl and go out with a swirl" (as Alan Watts would say).
I have found some bit of peace in not fighting anything or anyone. I don't always succeed. I try to keep open because someone I do not like may have something I urgently need to hear, and someone I love can be full of it.
There is no Answer to life. Bill Wilson, co-founder of AA, said "we must always remember that this life is spiritual kindergarten." If I am lucky I will find the right questions and leave the answers to a universe with far more power than I.
